This section will hopefully grow after time and will form a consolidate view of any Mini / Youth player that goes on to play at professional and International level. To date we have achieved a number of representative Internationals and are eagerly awaiting our first full International cap.
Seb Stegman
Seb was part of a group of lads including Mike McFarlane who were heavily involved in the early days. Seb played at Reeds for several years and since leaving in 2006/7 has gone on to wonderful things. His achievements include :-
England U16
- England U18
- England U20 World Cup squad 2008/9
- Harlequins Academy member
- 1st XV debut for Harlequins 2008/9
At the time of writing Seb is recovering from a nasty looking knee injury sustained during the Quins v Newcastle match – interestingly enough he was being cheered on from our U9 and U12 squads as they were both competing in the Ethiad Cup finals (both came runners up !!!).

Mike McFarlane
Mike was at Reed's rugby club from the U7's through to U18's. As Mike was part of a pioneering group of lads the club lacked the numbers to put out its own U18 squad. So we joined an affiliation with Esher RFC in order to get a side out. This side was very successful.
Since leaving the club in 2006/7 Mike has gone on to great things whilst studying at Loughborough University. His many achievements are listed below :-
County rugby from U15 to U19 – captaining at the U18s
- Midlands 1 U19
- Part of England’s U18 Six Nations squad in 2007/8
Mike has also been part of the Harlequins academy prior to going to Loughborough.
