We urgently need more volunteers
- Club shop helper’s – Sarah Matthews (U11) has offered to run the shop but will be emailing you all for help running it on a Sunday. Ideally she is looking for 10 people to work a rota. Please support her as it is vital that
- Mini Fixture secretary - Mick Cox (U10) continues to do a great job but would dearly love to find a successor !!! This is a vital role and requires someone who knows about rugby and is able to be the face of Reeds when talking to other clubs.
- Fundraising Co-ordinator - needed to co-ordinate all of the planned activities to raise our £70k target, Anyone interested please call Simon on 07736 750008.
As part of the development of the Club's facilities, we have set ourselves an ambitious target of raising £70,000 in order to improve what we are able to offer players and supporters of Reeds Weybridge RFC. Our Club is growing at a rapid pace at present. One has only to look at the number of children being attracted to the minis section of the Club to realise that we are thriving. But investment is required if we are to make good our commitment to these players and parents in the future.
We have wonderful facilities in Whiteley Village, and we need to continue to develop and improve upon these facilities if we are going to continue to grow into one of the top rugby clubs in Surrey. With this in mind, we have ambitious plans to improve the Club's facilities. Our plans include:
- Extending the Club House - you will have already noticed that we have increased the size of the dining area and added a covered patio on the east side of the Club House. We plan to extend the Club House further towards the kit sheds, creating 6 new changing rooms, revamped toilet facilities, integrating the Club shop into the main Club House, creating a referees room and more secure storage areas.
- Installing new floodlights - these will cover the training and 2nd XV pitches, which will mean that we will be able to train 4 nights a week during the season.
- Creating more parking space and using some of the existing space used for parking at the south end of the grounds for training.
At present we estimate that we need £70,000 in order to effect these changes. We believe that we can raise these funds within 2 years...but we need YOUR support to do this. We have some fund raising activities planned, but require volunteers to assist with this and to assist us in raising the necessary finances. We also need you to support these activities. - 2 Mini Festivals raised £7000
- Xmas tree sake raised £350 – well done to Charlotte and her team

- Dinner dance at the Club in a Marque subject to the Villages consent. Please watch out for Kim Ricks (U12, U14 ) email.
- 500 Club – once all numbers have been sold this will raise £13,750 pa for club funds and offering cash prizes of £18,750 pa!!!!! Paul Fyfe (U5) has done a great job in getting this launched for a 1st February launch. Please watch out for his email.
